TReO Clinical Support Services 

TReO provides a centralized infrastructure to support investigator and study logistical needs, as well as foster local partnerships to contribute to emerging translational science proposals that can expand access to treatment options that support surrounding communities. TReO works closely with Industry Sponsors and Investigators to support all participants and team members by providing consistent, and compliant support in the conduct of the study.

Clinical Research Coordinator Team

The hub of clinical research coordinators is centrally located and trained in standard operating procedures to maintain consistency and compliance in research activities. They have expertise in study coordination, recruitment, and consenting of participants. With many Spanish-speaking participants, TReO maintains a pool of bilingual research coordinators across all therapeutic areas.

Clinical Research Facilities

Clinical Research Facilities are conveniently located on campus of our B-UMCP hospital affiliate in the UArizona Clinical Research Suite at the Banner - University Medical Center Phoenix Medical Institute. The 4,101 square foot clinic is designed to provide a centralized hub of research resources to be available for all UArizona Phoenix-related clinical research needs.

Resources include four private exam rooms dedicated to research, an IV Infusion room, a bariatric exam room, and three consultation rooms. In addition, TReO's clinical site has a specimen processing room, and two vital and phlebotomy stations. Other resources include clinical trial supply storage, a specimen-only refrigerator, a -80 degree freezer, ambient and refrigerated centrifuges, automated blood pressure machines and height and weight scales for use in the clinical research setting.

We are affiliated with Banner - University Medical Center Phoenix which is a Level One Trauma Center. We have a diverse population of patients as our facility is located in the center of Phoenix, the 5th largest city in the United States. Many of our investigators have years of experience in clinical trials. TReO provides an extensive clinical support team with additional expertise to support all levels of experience.

Institutional Review Board (IRB)

TReO has an experienced regulatory team to manage each study. TReO works directly with sponsors and CROS to ensure compliance, manage essential documents, and support monitoring visits. 

 

Contracts, Budgets, & Billing

PRE-FAS Sponsored Study Survey

Sponsors can upload all study agreement requests, draft budgets, protocols and other essential documents securely to the University of Arizona Research Administration Portal for initial intake and review. All contract and budget process begins once the upload is complete.

Clinical Trial Billing
TReO uses OnCore for comprehensive, streamlined management of clinical trials billing and workflow.

Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS)

REDCap   

TReO's Clinical Data Team utilizes REDCap to create a secure, paperless source for study teams. REDCap maintains compliance with all study related documentation requirements. Our dedicated team is trained in all compliance measures necessary to satisfy University and Hospital Department/Divisions, College/University, and State/Federal reporting requirements.

Cerner EMS

TReO's affiliate Banner - University Medical Center Phoenix uses CERNER as their electronic health record. All research staff are trained and approved to obtain access.
